D: I hope you'll be able to get it off!! One day at McD's I had a THREE HOUR shift and it was the same day my brother was going to be in a demolition derby kind-of thing for the first, and possibly only, time. So I called out sick. xD

That's just not right. Hope you still have the day off, or at least have the only work till four thing. If I were you I'd tell ur uncle off if he makes you work. He's having you work too much, he has to be breaking some kind of law there.

I know, it's ridiculous. I SO deserve a raise. And it's really stupid if I hafta be there, because my uncle's gonna be there, Bobby, Big Rich, and Little Rich (my cousin. aka Little Ceasar aka Napolean). It's not a Friday night, you really don't need that many cooks there.
Everyone's saying that they don't think many people will come anyways, because my uncle made it a 'no reservation' thing, meaning that it's first come first serve, so some people might not get seated and will hafta wait. Which is a stupid thing to do for a holiday party type thing, 'cuz no one's gonna go out a whim on New Year's Eve when they're not guaranteed a seat when they walk in.

Don't quit, just call out. Yea he will know why you are calling out, but so what? What's the worst he could do, fire you... you already planned on quitting, lol. This way if he doesn't fire you, you still have a job, crappy as it may be, lol. G/l Skitzo I hope you get the day off, A) you need one and B) we all miss you at the gaming group, lol.
