Eric and I stopped off to get milk. Outside of Woodman's was a black raspberry bush. It no longer has any ripe berries.

Yup. It was behind the gas station. I'll be back in about 4 days or so when more should be mature. I'll probably start looking around for forage in Elver Park too.

Good luck finding them in Elver. I think City of Madison culls blackberry and raspberry bushes out of their parks. I haven't been able to find any in Vilas.

Ha! I thought of you this morning as I picked raspberries while weeding and seeding! We've had two big noggins full and there are more. Red raspberries coming on... Mom

My primary field site literally has THOUSANDS of ripe wild blackberries right now...in the next week that number should rise into the millions. A delicious and prickly snack.
