So is it a new year now? I didn't know people celebrated that kinda stuff. Do people usually celebrate by making those lights in the sky, too? They're really pretty. I wonder how they make them... Maybe I can fly close and take a look later on.

And how come it's still night time? Did I oversleep or something? Huh, weird.

I believe that fireworks are a common practice during large celebrations such as this, so the answer to your question would be "yes".

My system's internal clock reads that it is currently midday. Perhaps this city is experiencing a solstice.

[OOC: Roboboy can have a Robowoman to talk to. :3]

Oh, okay. So I was right.

What's a solstice?

((OOC: Yay, more androids :D))

On many planets where there are clear polar regions, some areas will experience periods of time where the sun is either present longer than it normally would be, or likewise absent. This would be the latter. I believe they are also referred to as "The longest days of the year" on some planets. However, they do not usually last the length of the day, unless one is in a polar region, where night and day may last many months each.

In any event, this would seem to simply be a singular anomaly, and it is likely it will pass by tomorrow.

Oh... okay. So then it's probably something other than a solstice.

Maybe it's another one of those curses or whatever. Not as bad as some of the other one's I've seen.

Oh yeah, I'm Grey, by the way. What's your name?
