The past few days I have been debating the merits of faith and religion on a forum that I am part of. I have always wondered as a Lutheran why our message of love and grace isn't a popular as other churches messages that rely more on repentance, punishment, and justice. For those non-Christians out there. Lent started tonight. Lent is my favorite church season. It is the time I use to really reconnect with God and Christ. I love the self-reflection that Lent brings.
