I would like to be able to have access to a shamisen for me to play: such a beautiful tone, its scales attuned to the vibration of my ear (more so than the dominant Western scales)...

it is a good thing ebay no longer allows one to sell body parts. one could easily find oneself the owner of a multitude of eastern instruments, but with no limbs to play them.

I spent half this morning within the aisles of video shops looking for this movie. I will keep looking!
when will I get to hear you play... If you do ever reach the Pacific shores, I will personally provide you a shamisen, a sword and dagger if you like, and a very attentive ear....
