el seven swordsman

yesterday's 203minute session with sixteenth century Japanese warriors will hereto forever be known as the time i relinquished my heart to Toshirô Mifune.

it is when i realized, love is handpicking rice grains, one by one, and serving them to the beloved, and saving the millet for yourself. but one look into those thirteen year old eyes, one sideways glance at that samurai swagger, and i knew there'd be romance.

oh Kikuchiyo, bare-bottomed ronin of my eye, believe me when I say I died when you said, "They're foxy beasts!"

a tentative list of nearer-than-far-future endeavors:

- learn to play the noh flute
