One door closes, another door opens. There's always something better in store for us. That's why good things fall apart for better things to come together. We just need to remind ourselves of that.

Conflicting emotions and thoughts.
Maybe sometimes, we don't reap what we sow because we tend to put our efforts into the wrong things/people.
I hate it when I have all the right words to say but I can't bring myself to admit them out loud. It's like punching yourself in the stomach and frankly, who the fuck wants that? -

I appreciate little conversations with my dad. I always try to make the best out of them because talks like these are rare. My dad's the quiet sort you see so I would gladly skip the first half of lecture so that he can update me on what's going on with the family.
