^____^ Thank you! I was almost ready to give up for a while there and just fill-in the remaining pages with nonsense. Her kind words definitely motivated me to expend more effort in my final two sections.
Ouch... I don't even want to think about all the movies I'm going to want on Blue-ray now. DVD shopping sprees are fun though... I used to explore the anime section of Media Play in my teen years to let off steam. Credit cards are even more dangerous because you don't have to pay until after you've already enjoyed everything.
It's like stepping on the scale the day after Thanksgiving dinner...
That's a smart way to spend. I use my credit card for most school things too because I get 1% cash back on purchases. This adds up at the end the year! I'll have to follow your advice... no more first-day releases that are $30-$40 a pop.
Dang, where do you get your hands on that kind of money? (I'd have dropped $2,000 on a more current laptop than a television, but that's just me.) That's a downright huge television, too! I hope you don't have to move it much. My sister sold my parents her 42-inch(?) hi-def television when she divorced her first husband and had to move, so that itself was quite the adventure...
I understand your plight with the religion thing. I do love my religion and I do love learning more on it all the time, but if it was all that I did? I might go a bit crazy... Plus, I have too many vices (like video games and currently new Slayers) for my focus to be very good. Even so, that is a great compliment! You really are good with words from what I read of your side of a discussion, so I imagine actual homework and such is even better. ^_-
The Hope Credit is awesome! It's an $1,800 credit on your taxes just for being a full-time student, but you can only qualify during your first two years of school. Since I've only taken sporadic classes in the past, this year technically qualifies as my freshman year. After my regular refund, it ended up being over $2,000 that I get refunded
( ... )
Boo, that figures! I'm on my third year... Oh well, I don't need to make our country bleed anymore than it already is. (I do need to file my taxes and see if I can get back some of my hard earned money though.)
I don't touch Windows. I want to get a MacBook Pro so I can finally have the RAW POWER needed to process my video editing..and stuff like that. Not that anything is wrong with my MacBook, and the Leopard OS is downright awesome, but curse those upped processors! (Vista sounded like it was nothing but pain to those who upgraded. I sure hope Windows learns quickly, or Apple might become even better looking to computer users..)
A few paragraphs is a good start. And perhaps you can take a page from the latter-half of the New Testament and use 'flowery language' to fluff up those paragraphs somewhat. Say, would doing so earn you extra credit? :D
(Bwa ha ha! Hands off, he's MY age! It's funny how many people have been drooling over him. Whatever happened to Orlando Bloom? *laughs*) ^_-
You should look into the Lifetime Learning Credit. It's not as much, but it's pretty handy and you can use it every year you attend school. (Unless you also claim the Hope that year)
If I worked with graphics, I'd get an Apple hands-down. I've heard they're great for graphic designers and animators. It sounds like Microsoft is getting a clue, but they'd better hurry. If anything happens to the computer I have now, I might switch if they don't get their acts together. (Even though I'm aware of how painful the switch will be)
Ironically, using "flowery language" would probably only cost me points because much of it is idiomatic language... Good thought, though!
Hey, *gets defensive* Ben Barnes is only a year and half older than I am! Just because his character's young...
Besides, Orlando was better as a blond elf. If he still had the pointy ears then maybe...

(How is Prince Caspian on Blu-ray, anyway?)
