The Hope Credit is awesome! It's an $1,800 credit on your taxes just for being a full-time student, but you can only qualify during your first two years of school. Since I've only taken sporadic classes in the past, this year technically qualifies as my freshman year. After my regular refund, it ended up being over $2,000 that I get refunded.

I would've bought a laptop too... but I heard a rumor they're ready to dump Vista and make an OS for those of us who need speed as opposed to unnecessary gimmicks. Since my laptop with XP is working okay, just slow, I didn't want to jump the gun and end up with something that will be outdated in six months or a year...

Thanks! I'm having difficulty with the application section of the paper. (It's on the Ephesians armor passage - how does one apply such an allegory to one's daily life?) So far, my response in that section is only a couple of paragraphs long - and it needs to be 2-3 pages. O_o...

(Sadly enough, my TV isn't here yet so I haven't watched the movie. It gets delivered later. The TVs at Sam's were showing it though... I'll just say that Ben Barnes looks even better in High-Def than he did in the theater. *blush*)

Boo, that figures! I'm on my third year... Oh well, I don't need to make our country bleed anymore than it already is. (I do need to file my taxes and see if I can get back some of my hard earned money though.)

I don't touch Windows. I want to get a MacBook Pro so I can finally have the RAW POWER needed to process my video editing..and stuff like that. Not that anything is wrong with my MacBook, and the Leopard OS is downright awesome, but curse those upped processors! (Vista sounded like it was nothing but pain to those who upgraded. I sure hope Windows learns quickly, or Apple might become even better looking to computer users..)

A few paragraphs is a good start. And perhaps you can take a page from the latter-half of the New Testament and use 'flowery language' to fluff up those paragraphs somewhat. Say, would doing so earn you extra credit? :D

(Bwa ha ha! Hands off, he's MY age! It's funny how many people have been drooling over him. Whatever happened to Orlando Bloom? *laughs*) ^_-

You should look into the Lifetime Learning Credit. It's not as much, but it's pretty handy and you can use it every year you attend school. (Unless you also claim the Hope that year)

If I worked with graphics, I'd get an Apple hands-down. I've heard they're great for graphic designers and animators. It sounds like Microsoft is getting a clue, but they'd better hurry. If anything happens to the computer I have now, I might switch if they don't get their acts together. (Even though I'm aware of how painful the switch will be)

Ironically, using "flowery language" would probably only cost me points because much of it is idiomatic language... Good thought, though!

Hey, *gets defensive* Ben Barnes is only a year and half older than I am! Just because his character's young...

Besides, Orlando was better as a blond elf. If he still had the pointy ears then maybe...
