You do indeed get a single alternate character costume for each character and there are team bonuses. The bonus will show up on your team name. For most of the alt costumes you have to kill 50 guys with a single character after you choose a side. Green Goblin for example, nets you Hobgoblin, and Venom nets you the old Eddie Brock one.

I found the game to be really lackluster compared to the first and/or Batman: AA. Cyborg Nick Fury was ultra lame.

My team was Jean Grey, Juggernaut, Wolverine, and Gambit for the X-Men bonus, although I used Thor a lot too.

The Anti-Reg storyline was better than the Pro-Reg one save for the fun little Cable Vs. Deadpool. If only because you get the bits from Civil War they've since swept under the rung like Iron Man and Reed being war profiteers and Reed being pro-McCarthy.

Considering that played entirely through with one characters and killed loads of people with her, I would have expected to get a Warbird costume.

I didn't.

Also, I don't get team names. Trust me on this one.

That's really weird. I can't believe they'd take them out for the Wii version, especially since it has three exclusive characters.

Sadly you're not missing out. Most of the unlockable costumes were pretty lame and not alt. characters like in the original.

Wii Exclusive characters?

Who were they?

Blade, Psylocke Cyclops?

Goddamnit, if you have a DS, you get to be Sentry!

If the Wii version had so much content cut, then I'm thinking the PS2 version suffered the same fate.

Pretty damn lame. I hate rushed ports. :(

Tomb Raider Underworld had been gutted too.

I'm not going to buy another console, and I appreciate that the Wii isn't as powerful a piece of kit as the XBox360 or the PS3, but I'm quite sure that it doesn't need half of the stuff cut.

I have nothing against consoles, only against system exclusive content and developers who feel it's their duty to cut content for no reason at all.

I've had the displeasure of dealing with Vicarious Visions at my side job. I reaaaaaaaaally don't like that company at all.

I was not pleased to learn of all the cut content. Especially since I can't exactly afford to run out and buy a xbox360 just for a the full version of the game.

I might have to snag the pc version if it doesn't suffer the same porting fate.

There is not PC version.

I guess Marvel didn't want fans making their own character mods.

I've played on both the PS3 and Wii versions. And I think they both had their high points ( ... )

I leveled up Betsy's psychic blade and butterfly attacks completely and she just destroyed.

I actually pretty much won the game with her.

Once you level characters up to about 35+, you can just maul everything. When you bring in new characters in later on, like the TBolts, you can just put all of your points in two or three powers and spam them all of the time.

Venom's tentacle flail is just ungodly. He stands in the middle of the screen, you mash buttons, tentacles come out and kill everything. Nasty.

It's lazy programming, that's what it is. Vicarious had NO EXCUSE to cut content from the Wii version. It's not like the game disc couldn't hold the data, the 360 also uses regular DVDs to store the game data.

This shit ain't cool.
