I own the Wii version as well, and I love it. The controls are improved by far from the first game's Wii version. I adore two out of the three Wii/PS2 exclusive characters. (Never even used Blade.) I didn't mind the reduced graphics, because the game uses the PS3/360 cutscenes, and while playing you're never really close enough to need close up graphics.
As for my team, I switched it us a lot until I had found character I liked and enjoyed using. My teams usually consist of any four of Captain America (His shield throw is freakin deadly!), Iron Man, Thor, Iceman, Jean Grey, Spider-man, Songbird, Human Torch, Deadpool and sometimes another character if I deem in story relevant (Taking Storm to rescue Black Panther) or lulzy (Bringing any one of the Thunderbolts to their own boss fight).
Overall, I enjoy the game and have no regrets about buying it.
