They have never made me feel weird in there, even as a girl, and they carry hentai and all sorts of off color stuff, well cordoned off from the rest of the store. The normal collections are huge, and they even rent movies!
They've also feed my Magic addiction for years, even if I still no longer play, the collecting is fun.

My first LCS experience was when I was about 11, it was the mall in Columbia Maryland where I lived at the time. The place had everything from Little Mermaid toys to comics. I got my first issue of New X-men (issue 1 even, if I remember right) and a issue of Wolverine. I always went in with my dad, who wasn't that into comics himself but encouraged me. I don't remember what sparked me to start buying comics, since I don't think the X-Men animated series was out yet.
My first comic store experience though was some store in a mall when my parents were furniture shopping. I bought my first comic trade there: TMNT. I still have it too.

Anyway they're called Ace Comics and Games, and actually have two stores in the city, only the one I go to is easier to access than the one they have in the suburbs. I think they're awesome, they've got a good range in stock and they're always watching some obscure cartoon or anime.
