I had a very good weekend with meresy and the lovely and amazing eledhwenlin in Toronto over the weekend. It was great to finally meet E, who is very sweet and intelligent and someone with whom I really click. (Unlike, say, Meres, who orders poutine topped with very weird and exotic meats. Not cool, M! :P)

Thanks for these- and Emily Carr, how I love that woman's work, she saw into the heart of the forest as it runs down to the water in a way that nobody else ever has.

Emily Carr really is spectacular. It's a shame that she wasn't really recognized as such an important artist until later in life, but her stuff is beautiful.

And yes! You must go look at some art! And report back about what you see!

And why am I not surprised that North Shore is your favourite? I mean, given your obsession with the Washington Monument it's inevitable. :P

I am with you on the getting cold when sleepy! My whole body just kinda shuts off when I go to sleep, and I get COLD! You will get no mockage from me.

Plus you're used to Boy, who I expect is very warm. ;)

Awww, I was nostalgic too! And eledhwenlin REALLY reminded me of you, which only added to the lip-wobbly. (I hope you two get a chance to connect at MJ. I think you'd like each other very much).
