Hey guys, guess what? In a little over twelve hours I'll be boarding a bus bound for Victoria, BC, where I will meet zabira and we will spend three fun-filled days sightseeing, gossipping, reading the dSSS stories and watching 6degrees stuff. Ray will dance in the booth while the recordings are playing. Love the bunny. I can't adopt it, though--you know why! My WIP list is already too damn long! :)

And please know that I am so jealous of your getting to meet Zabira. And happy for you both. \o/ I've heard Victoria is stunning, and I've always wanted to see it. Hope you have the BEST time!

You have WAY too many WiP, JS! And this is a cute one, but I do understand why you can't take it home. You'll be posting dS stories in 2030 at the rate you're going :-)

Victoria is beautiful, and I'm excited to see it during the winter - the last time I was there in December I was still in high school! Z and I will have a great time, and we'll make sure to have a drink in your honour.

And the angstful part would be??? Sure, there'll be some angst because of the possibility of Ray being sent back to Chicago by Canadian immigration officials. But that's not really angst...*g*

*g* Well, I'm pretty sure we could inject a little angst into the story if we really thought about it :-) And thanks for the weekend wishes! We're pretty much guaranteed to have a good time, I think.

Okay, you win everything ever. I LOVE the AU idea! Ray having a radio call-in show in the Arctic is brilliant, and Fraser calling him (to correct him, naturally) and then both of them falling in love...SB, it's genius! You know I love the AUs, too!

(And the anonymous-love-by-ham-radio-callsign? Makes me so happy. Just the thought of it is so adorable).

I did indeed luck out! That story was everything I could have wished for, and the author did an amazing job.
