Should I be concerned?

scarfe, the fangirl-approved boyfriend of awesomeness, just said something that I find both deeply amusing and of some concern.

We rented Zodiac to watch tonight (along with The Good German and Down to the Bone (eeee Hugh Dillon!) and scarfe said of Zodiac: "It's got Mark Rufallo, Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jr. That's the three faces of sexiness, ( Read more... )

after the service I went to a cafe and wrote five hundred words of Kowalski giving Fraser a blow job. \o/

Wait, this ISN'T church? What have I been doing the last few years? *g*

I think we should start up some sort of denomination based on our love for F/K blowjobs. And kisses (because we'd want to put a family-friendly face on our church). Maybe we can get some sort of a tax credit for melding homegrown Canadian *cough* talent with a religious organization!

He's a heterosexual man and is clearly quite comfortable with his orientation. But I do reserve the right to question his taste. Seriously, Mark Ruffalo?

If he weren't a straight guy, he'd know better. :P

Also, good for you for balancing out your karma by hitting the church and then hitting the smut writing!

:-) Indeed! Straight guys seem to love Mark Ruffalo, and I cannot fathom it!

And yeah, the church thing. I'm an athiest and I distrust organized religion (to put it mildly) but every so often I go to the Unitarian church near where I live (because it's GLBT-friendly and damn progressive, for a church) and spend a morning there. Even though, as I told scarfe, "It's a little heavy on the God stuff." (His reply? "IT'S A CHURCH!")

Writing smut afterwards makes me feel better.

Once again, you misrepresent my statement. What I said was that together, Mark Rufallo, Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jr comprise a trinity of sexiness. BIG difference. Meaning is all in the details, my dear.

I did misrepresent! You said, "Three faces of sexiness" and then you progressed to the trinity. I remember conversations. I do!

I'm quoting you precisely from your comment: "I did misrepresent!"

See, you even misrepresented yourself in your own comment. How can anything you say be trusted?

You question Mark Rufallo, but have no issue with Gyllenhaal's tardface? Alrighty.

Your dislike of The Gyllenhaal makes the baby Jesus weep.

I loooooove Mark Ruffalo! If only because he played a detective called Ray with a shiny black car in Collateral. Totally the best thing in that film. (Actually, I love him because he was incredibly adorkable in Thirteen Going On Thirty, a movie for which I have an irrational fondness because I adore the trope of people meeting their child-selves/dealing with who they've grown up to be, cf Disney's The Kid.)

Don't care about Jake.

Robert Downey Jnr is awesome, but not hot.

/my two cents', unsolicited ;-)

(Oh Hugh!)

The fact that Ruffalo played a cop named Ray (with a car! don't forget the car!) in Collateral is indeed a point in his favor. Maybe I'll have to go watch Thirteen Going on Thirty. I have been looking for an excuse...

(HUGH! I had a dream last night about writing a Down to the Bone/HCL crossover. I'm going to see if it's possible. Dream Nos will not rule my life)
