Good thoughts sent your way on the news of your past partner -
I love it when my dreams are explicit and instructionary, too. When that happens, I always get the sense the Universe or guides or whatever are tired of waiting for me to GET it, and have to leave behind their usual graceful approaches (metaphor, sign, symbol, dream) and get LITERAL with me.
Lost things, giving up early - I find myself thinking there isn't enough time left in this lifetime, and for me, maybe those things are things I'll get to in the next lifetime. Which I find myself looking forward to - I feel I've learned a lot and changed a lot in this one, and some of the heartbreak of this one - which I brought on myself, of course, in many ways - I won't repeat, next time around.
I love the message the Princess of Wands carried for you. What deck is that?
What bellamagic said. Juicy, card and dream both. There's a tension there, between the dream with explicit instructions, and the author's reading of the Princess of Wands as layers and duties dropping away. Or maybe not -- you woke up talking about your name. True name, true self? (Though being the anarchist I am, my mind jumps immediately to plurals: true names, true selves.)
May you strip away whatever no longer fits for you, and find truth and self in whatever you seek. (And may you have FUN! The Princess of Wands certainly seems to be, in the Thoth deck at any rate.)
