Okay -- Real life drama you dont mean to cause and people take it the wrong way? can REALLY rub you the wrong way. People need to realize (me included at times -- yes i'll admit it ) that it's a ROLE PLAY.... *coughs* okay, that's all of that... now onto my Bigger rant:

1.) Gonna be blunt here:
Real life drama is when you interact with someone in real life. Not online. Online Drama is simply that...online.

2.) Gonne be blunt again:
I know that I don't deserve any credit or somesuchthing, but it doesn't make the people you know in real life feel too great when online people constantly get relegated over you. If you interacted sometimes, you might see how accomadating people in reality can be. But you don't, or rarely, if ever. I know this isn't a great time to bring this up, but its something to think about.

Perhaps I'm butting in, but I just wanted to say something about the online/reality thing. (I'm going to try not to be very biased.)

Yes, online friends and real life friends are different [obviously]. But I don't think it's fair to say that online friends aren't real or can't mean as much as real life ones.
Okay, so maybe I am biased.
I have - not a lot - friends online that mean more to me than many of my real life ones. I have real life friends that I mostly talk to online, because we live in different places. I have online friends that I talk with on the phone, and/or have met in real life. They're all different - not one group in general means more, or I think *should* mean more than any other.

If you interacted sometimes, you might see how accomadating people in reality can be.I certainly can't speak for Lisa, but perhaps there's a reason she finds her online friends more accomidating? Either way, she does, I believe, what she is most comfortable with - I don't think you can fault her for that

Just a thought... Maybe one reason she mentions her online friends in her LJ more than real life ones is because it's how she communicates with them...? I mean, I would have no problem if one of my real life friends never mentioned me in their journal, because I actually see and talk to them in other ways. If that's the case, of course, she should be talking to you in real life, on the phone, what have you.

But hey, I can't fault anyone who has MT icons.

You can't expect sympathy from people unless you're injured big time. In fact, I'm kicking back and taking it thusly: "She's alive. She's not seriously injured, why worry?" And I'm sure the people at TJMAXX think along those same lines.

You absolutely CANNOT use that as an excuse. Sure it caused some drama, but unless you're not physically able to carry out your tasks, do you really think they care?

Aside from that, I do think 9 hours is a bit unreasonable and people shouldn't slack off in any situation. But, there you have it, the cold hard truth.
