Books! And fandom

I would have died on the bus the other day if a bus-friend hadn't loaned me a book, because I'd finished mine, which was 'Pet Sematary'.  Which is, I think, the only book I've ever read that I've actually found creepy (or, at least, creepy in a creepy way; I've been frightened off by terrible writing before, though!).

There's a radio show on down here called the Vinyl Cafe. Kinda like a canadian Prarie Home Companion. Didn't know there were books, too.

Due South...ROCKS still. I think.

Have a great squirrel and banana-free, sunny vacation. Take the sunscreen.

Yes, it's the same show! I've never actually heard it on the radio, but apparently the guy who reads them is the author. In 'Dorothy', at the Due South conference, the aunt gets her picture taken with Diefenbaker! And she buys red Mountie longjohns. And she quotes Fraser to a fan from the Philipines! And I'm feeling awfully nostalgic.

Sunscreen, check. Lack of bananas, check. Squirrels? None in the car, and hopefully none in the campsite, either!
