CONDO UPDATE 1

So I don't own a condo yet, but this is the building, and the unit I am interested in. Its 825sq has 2 full bathrooms (one an ensuite) and 2 bedrooms.. its on a concave, and has an open kitchen/living/dining area..

This is the building the Unit is in.

All the white trim, and paint has to go..
Also Id be replacing the backsplash with something a lot better..

I do like the mirrored entry way, maybe extend that all the way along.. give it a Clockwork orange look..

Nice, but seems a bit small. The gf and I are calling 1000 sq feet our minimum. But I do love that floor plan, and the design.

Also I know nothing of property values in the Great White North.

I think the average price of houses/condo's in the GTA is $350K..
Actually, I don't think you'll find a detached home for under $350K
In the GTA..

Condo's are around $250-$500K... In the centre of the city, this condo would be close to $500K

Im waiting for the interest rates to go up.. plus some new rules with regards to buying on speculation.. which will turn down the heat on this market..

The thing also is, this condo, isn't in a hot happening area, and eventhough its not a "dangerous" area, it is in Scarborough, which is seen as dangerous.. (the way the whole city is gentrfying, this will be a good investment for resale in id say 10-15 years)

Its a bit smaller than Id like.. especially with 3 cats and a girlfriend..

There's a new townhouse for sale up in Markham, ill post pics of soon, that would work out a lot better.. Condo's fee's are about 1/2 but the price is about $30K more.

I know backroutes.. I drove past markham in rushhour for 5 years
