Spin Doctors?! Say it ain't so! They're the worst kind of bar-rock generic '90s alternative cash-in band that ever was. Them and Hootie, except the Spin Doctors were actively annoying, not just easily ignorable. If Hootie was really bland wallpaper, the Spin Doctors were actively ugly wallpaper.

Dude.

The Spin Doctors are easily one of my top ten rock bands of all time. If only for just how fun they are to listen to. Their bassist is solid and I LOVE their guitar player! Seriously give "Pocket Full of Kryptonite" (thee album) a listen, there's nothing mind-blowing about it, just straight up groovy rock and roll. The song Skinbone Alley/Hard to Exist is SO good man I drive to that shit all the time. Forget "Two Princes" for a minute and give it an open minded listen.

Okay, email me what you consider their best song and I will give it a solid listen and let you know what I think.

The lazy bug bit, go here: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=24187528 and listen to "What time is it?" I don't think it's their BEST song, but it's a lot of fun. Best for this band is hard to figure out, they have some slower songs, then there's the Skinbone Alley/Hard to Exist but that one's sort of a longer jam song. Like I said before, nothing about them is out of this world but they're just a lot of fun. I also recommend "Jimmy Olsen's Blues" on that page. I love the opening riff on that one. Now that I think about it, I haven't heard anything outside of the Pocket Full of Kryptonite album...
