My adventure to Scottie-land has ended and I have finally made it home.  Going through the airports are an adventure all to themselves.

I slept in a bit (9:30?) yesterday and Chelsea, Joey and I got a late start around 11.  We finally made our way to the city center and perused the Royal Mile working on different pieces of each other's projects.  On our way down the hil, I stopped and got a spicy chicken baguette from a takeaway place (it's a takeaway, not a to go).  This country ( Read more... )

On Tuesday, we actually made a trip down to England for the Beatrix Potter Home.  We took the train, which is fine by me since I love the train.  It's so smooth and relaxing, I'd come back to Scotland just to ride the train.  It's also good for sleeping.  Anyway, we got off the train at Carlisle, England and then got a very bumpy coach ride to ( Read more... )

This past Monday we had an extremely long class talking about our weekend, our progress within our own project, and hearing from some last presentations from the Literature class.  Being a studio major, I'm used to classes being long, but the information being exchanged is more effective if there is a break in between.  We did finally get a break ( Read more... )

So yesterday was quite eventful and tiring to say the least.

So yesterday we were on the coach around 9 AM to make the 2 hour ride down to Ayr (pronounced "Air") for the Robert Burns Heritage Park.  As a reminder, Robert Burns wrote Auld Lang Syne.  Most people just know the first verses, but there are apparently several versus.  I'm not a big literature buff, but when a bard or poet ( Read more... )
