I... I am totally speechless. This is gorgeous and fantastic and made me wish it were just the teaser to a novel I had just picked up so I could indulge myself by reading it all afternoon long. I haven't read steamTrek before and I have to say I love love love the way you have handled it. The way the tarnish is rubbed off the shiny that is nuTrek. Gods and goddesses, I love this so freaking much. And I'm sure I am not making much sense, but. Yes, please do continue and I promise to leave slightly more coherent feedback in the future.

Haha, I feel that there needs to be more of this, if only so that I can write about the time Pike had a scandalous affair with a lady aeronaut and the newspapers ran Satirical Illustrations of them together with the caption, "Why Captain, you've harpooned my dirigible!" because that's a pseudo-Victorian euphemism if ever I heard one.
