OK week 3 has gone by on the job and all went very well. Last weekend was a little frustrating here in the great north...we had a major windstorm, a tree fell on the power lines in front of our house knocking down some high tension wires. This week has been quite challenging to say the least. I was on my second week on the new job when my second cook annouced he will be leaving...I had my first meeting with the residents of "the Gables" and although I came out relatively unscathed, these people sure have way too much to complain about. Well, I made it thru my first week at "the Gables at Winchester"...all went very vvery well, and I think the residents are taking a liking to me already!!! Well tomorrow I start my new job...and I hate to say it but I'm very nervous. I haven't started working for a new company in 15 years. It finally happened, after 347 resumes, 15 interviews, and at least 3 jobs I turned down I was finally offered a great position with an assisted living community in MA.
