I think your fomer doctor's story is a very convincing!
Victims of car accidents more likely to have their brains and organs damaged.
I hope that the study of organ culture will progress dramatically in few years.
In the future we might have beef without killing cattle. (but it's kinda scary in a way)

The history of organs transplants in Japan is very very short. They just started to do several years ago. So we have to correct the informations and learn a lot. I really hope that it'll progress faster and many wanting people who need organs can get a long life.

not sure.. suicide rate in america is not that high. and most people who kill themselves are found much more late then from accidents. for example, my mother in law had liver trasplant few years ago. the girl who died was in hospital when that happened, and she was in car accident, but her liver was okay.

i heard some time ago, if one has strong 'ki' and keep their body tense, the organs will not be damaged when the accident happens..

yes, we usually say that if we have strong "ki",it can get rid of illnesses.
I have a strong "ki", so I will surely get over it ;)
i'm glad to hear that your mother in law could get a transplant :)
