Mum had to spend the night in casualty last night, her atrial fibrillation has been getting more severe lately and the 'quick appointment' we were promised the last time we were there turned out to be in November, which is a strange definition of quick. Bloke turned up at the A&E when I was there with mum the other week, pissed out of his head and looking like he spent most of his time that way. Looks like I'm trying to be moodily artistic doesn't it but it's more that the bloody batteries went on the camera when the effect was really visible and by the time I'd mucked about trying to get the camera to work, realizing that the batteries had gone and getting some new ones it had faded to a barely noticeable smudge. Btw, btw, 6music is a great thing if you like to be introduced to music you never hear elsewhere. Cerys Matthews' show on a Sunday morning is good, can be a little precious at times but she introduced me to people like Boban Markovic and a whole world of unknown pleasures so I can forgive her that.
