He really is an interesting guy, isn't he? When I first met SMAP, I just saw him as the funny, always smiling, outspoken, simple boy. But the more I watch and observe him, the more I realize that Nakai Masahiro is one of the most complex human being in the world XD Not as simple as I originally thought.

woww, your analysis is really interesting. I don't think I've ever seen a detailed analysis of Nakai's character before. Most of the time, I saw only Kimura's especially as a tribute on his birthday. So, thank you for writing this

I'm always surprised to read gossips of SMAP hating/not getting along with one another. Because what I see is totally different. They actually are a very closed group that separate themselves from the others outside the group. Sure, they are teasing/bullying each other but all is in good nature. What I love most about this group is they are very protective of their own members. They can bully their own members but they will never allow anyone outside their group to criticize their members even in the slightest. Even with Sanma-san who is very close to Kimura and Nakai. When Sanma-san appeared on Bistro and once criticized Kimura's hating-to-lose attitude, Nakai jumped in immediately to say that attitude is a good thing that has helped him succeed. And Sanma-san backed off right away
