*****SPOILERS******

Ok, comments:

I. I didn't get the sense that it was Lana that faked the death. Somehow, I think Lex is involved, and will be holding her somewhere in secret.

II/III. Total shock with Chloe/Lois. Will Chloe be restored? Who knows?

IV. I like Lionel; he was, after all, trying to protect Clark.

V. "Dark Clark" is actually Bizarro, and he doesn't have the best track record in the comics. Generally, his intelligence devolves pretty quickly, and he ends up saying, "Me am not Bizarro", when he means, "I'm Bizarro".

******END SPOILERS***********

On another note, I got your *lovely* card in the mail the other day. Thank you so much! It is SO beautiful!

As far as Lana's "death" goes, she is far too intelligent to call her hated father-in-law to say, "I'm leaving Lex! I'm heading to my car parked on the corner of Main and High and will be there in 10 minutes to drive away to somewhere you'll never find me! You can't stop me! So there!" That phone call rang false to me. The only purpose for it would be to make sure that Lionel was there to see Lana head to the car, see the truck blocking Lionel's view of Lana actually getting into the car, and seeing the car blow up. But we'll find out for sure next season. ;-)

Is Lionel protecting Clark? If he's not lying, what are his motives? I get that he's Jor-el's favorite puppet, but he's also capable of having his own nefarious agenda. And if protecting Clark was so important to Lionel that he threatened to kill Clark if Lana didn't marry Lex, was it also important enough to him to fake Lana's pregnancy and miscarriage, and let Lana believe that it was Lex who performed that dastardly deed? At this point, I no longer see Lionel as ( ... )

Blue and Red Clark? This sounds disturbingly like one of the less-liked storylines from the 90's era comic book, where Superman was split into two beings (again), Red Superman and Blue Superman.

Though the idea of a Bizzaro on Smallville sounds fun.

One day I may actually start watching this show ; )

Clark on Smallville almost always wears a blue shirt and red jacket. I just called him that to distinguish him from Dark Clark (Bizzaro.)

Repeats start this Thursday, if you want to begin watching...
