Someone in our theater screamed too, right behind us. How do you mean that Harry is darker and more manipulative. From memory I feel like many of the things that he did were circumstantial, and not really his choice. Harry should have ended up with Luna, you are SO right! Snape is great! Everyone that you said was great, was indeed great. I thought everyone was a much better actor this time around. I laughed when Dumbledore picked up the knitting magazine. And, I thought Ron was hilarious while under the influence of the love potion. Natalie said that the inferi looked like Gollum to her too. I felt a lot of pity for Draco Malfoy, and I thought he played it well. I could go on and on.

I mean it in the nicest possible way, of course. ;-)
Harry was very manipulative with Professor Slughorn from the moment the potions professor came to Hogwarts. "You said that Professor Slughorn would want to collect me. D'you want me to let him?" was my favorite line from the movie.
Harry and Draco reversed positions in Half-blood Prince. Usually it's Harry who is on a quest and Draco who is trying to stop him. This time it was Harry who was getting in Draco's way. And the fight scene in the bathroom was truly frightening.
And Harry exhibited a ruthless streak on the island of the inferi when he forced Dumbledore to drink the poisoned water. Yes, I know Dumbledore had ordered Harry to force him to drink it, but I wouldn't have been able to do that. I suppose that's why I'll never be a hero.
Don't get me wrong. I know Harry was just trying to stop Voldemort by any means necessary. But he did make some pretty dark choices along the way.
