I'm planning to move again. My day begins at 7:30 a.m., I get home at 7:30 p.m., and then have three hours of grading and lesson planning ahead of me before I go to bed. It's starting to get to me, and with north-east Ohio winter weather, it will only get worse

There is one part of equation you're neglecting, unless multiple people come up from Columbus - how does the person driving the van get back to Columbus? (Unless they're driving down from Kent area with you.)

Was waiting til I got home to answer that part - and it's *not* high maintenance to ask someone to drive to Kent, especially when you're asking for volunteers rather than deciding that a particular person *ought* to do it - just wanted to make sure you had that logistical question as part of your computations.

Dec 5-7 is right out for me; the other days are open for now. (At least, I haven't marked anything on the calendar yet.)

I might be able to help, at least loading-wise, down here, but I'll need a date before I can commit (of course). Right now, most of those dates look alright.

I might be able to help load boxes in Columbus. Dec. 13 is definitely no good for me. I'm not sure about the others without digging out my calendar, but I think the other days are at least flexible.

Thank you. I just got back from signing the lease, which starts on Dec. 1. I don't have to be moved in by then, so I have a bit of flexibility.

Darlin' I would love to come help but I just had back surgery a week ago and a milk jug is my weight limit.Sitting in the car for more than an hour is also a limit cause I end up in agony.
My heart though is truly wishing I could help though. I'm so sorry

I can help in town on any of those dates. I could probably make the drive to Kent on December 6th, but would probably want to spend the night somewhere. I did just purchase a brand-new Honda Fit (woohoo!), and they are good for packing stuff. :)

That would be great. You could certainly stay on the floor of my new apartment. :-) We could have a slumber party! Of course, you would be sleeping on the floor surrounded by boxes, so I understand if you'd want to make other arrangements.
