Yes, we really have to call our HA the Lifestyle Enhancement Committee. Do we have smilies here? Do we have one for 'hurl'? I have run afoul of these folks because I "show attitude." The first time I showed attitude, I tried to request some information from a gate guard. She got all paranoid, snarled that she was not responsible. Didn't say ( Read more... )

Amazing, how just because we Boomers didn't want to grow up, the older generation thought we wouldn't. He he he it's the 60s all over again in 55+ communities, only this time, they can't send us to our rooms.

I'm going to look for those sooper sekrit posts now.

Actually, there's surprisingly little about EI in them, as I recall.

One of the reasons the accusations of me having it "in" personally for the conservatives of the board make me furious is because there is so much of my life that doesn't touch EI at all.

Good thing, at this point, eh?

They don't look markedly different, but there's a lock icon to one side. Public entries have none.

If you do a private (for your eyes only entry) it has an eyeball in place of the lock. It's a little disconcerting.

You can also build a custom list with a subset of your friends.

For example, I have over 100 friends linked up. Not all of them will be interested or should be privy to every locked post. So, I have subsets for some items.

It can really be as simple or complex as you want it, and there's lots of time to explore the bells and whistles here.
