I'm not a flack or anything, but I do own a number of Apple IOS products (iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad 2).

That said, I have never owned a Mac, and never plan to. I really don't like them at all.

I get what you mean about rabid fans. My best friend is a self-proclaimed Apple fanboy and it drives me crazy. When I got my iPad 2 he said, "Welcome to the fold!" I wanted to slap him.

I do have a couple of brand loyalties, though. I prefer Chevy to Ford (F*cked Over, Rebuilt Dodge / Found On Road, Dead / Fails On Race Day). I prefer Nikon to Canon (no slurs here, they're capable cameras, I just think Nikon is better). I prefer Coke to Pepsi (I only ever drink Pepsi products if there's no Dr. Pepper alternative). Brand loyalties are part of a personality -- I'm cool with that. Brand fandom, that gets a little crazy.

(I should have said more specifically "iOS products". I own IOS products too, but those have Cisco logos on them. ;-)

Honestly, I don't foresee them possibly ever really being able to fully enforce this. It's like trying to enforce people not talking on the phone while driving or texting or something like that. You will never catch every single person who causes an infraction.

That being said, (Windows) PCs suck, Macs by definition are a better product*. After all Windows 7 is just a poor imitation of the OS X line of user interfaces.... and a poor imitation it is indeed.
