Hello, I'm an off and on lurker for a few months now. This is my "Hello" post, and a warning to you. I will probably piss folks off. It seems to be my super-power, according to some folks of a druid grove, and 3 different wiccan covens that I have since left behind me in disgust and/or rage over the last decade. Not that I totally disagree with you about pagans in general, but I kind of like the fluffy little guys. Makes me happy. A lot of religions have fanatics and loonies that pick up weapons and shoot people. Pagans have fanatics and loonies that swear they'll throw fireballs and then stare really hard at their quartz crystals, which keeps them and everyone else out of harm's way and reduces the need for Ritalin.

So, do you polish that chip, or do I need to get sandpaper?

Well, you want to know why it'll piss people off or are you content to walk around with that chip on your shoulder for the rest of your life? Honestly, with an attitude like that, regardless of your views, you aren't going to make many friends. (Although, you may not really care about that, either.)

Still, rather than just fly off the handle and call everyone here the things you called the, why don't you give us a reason to believe you are anything but the very things you just mentioned?

Let me see...you come to a group called "nonfluffypagans" and want validation for your views about the *rest* of pagandom by popping off at the mouth about how vile the other groups are and how this group is probably not any different.
