I bought a £5 fleece top at M&S the other week, but it was too small.
I finally got round to exchanging it yesterday evening, and found that they'd reduced them to £3, so I was refunded the £2 difference.

It's just a bit odd. My stomach muscles are sore and there is no discernable cause. I feel like I've been doing sit ups...have kind of felt that way all day. *Shrugs*

I'll post this in non-entities, so as to not clog up my fl with such a trivial thing.

I saw chocolate yule logs on sale in Sainsbury's yesterday.  They had a use-by date of 20th November.  What's that all about?

I think I did 9 loads of laundry yesterday. That's quite a feat!

And because it must be said: "soy milk" is not "milk", and does not taste good as a substitute when you're out of real milk.

This past month or two, I've managed very few books. I've started so many books, only to put them aside. I've been working more hours, and lately I've had the concentration of a flea. Did you know, that if a saucepan of frozen peas boils dry, it makes the identical sound to popcorn popping.

Smells different, mind you.

My ears were hot, so I had to take my earphones off.

Friday dinner: Starter was spicy sausages, main course Cumberland sausages.
Saturday: Don't remember.
Sunday: Breakfast was sausages and beans on toast, dinner was large portion of sausages and mash.
