April didn't always get tipsy due to day-drinking and wind up at an old people's bar, but when she did, the results were apparently fairly entertaining.

She sat in a shadowy corner towards the back with a smirk on her face and her phone in her hand as she took pictures of this for her mother. Her mom was a pretty big Duke Silver fan.

So was the little middle-aged lady sitting in front of her, gawping quite openly. "I can't believe Duke Silver is here!" she hissed to her neighbor.

Duke ignored them, and he clearly hadn't spotted April yet. He had his eyes closed and seemed to be really enjoying playing that saxophone.

"Move, you're in my way," April grumbled as she shifted in her seat so she could take a picture over the older woman's head. Then, figuring she might as well kill two birds with one complaint, she added, "And shut up, too. I'm trying to listen."

She took the picture, and this time the magic of auto-flash intervened, brightly lighting up April's particular section of the audience for a moment.

Whatever, that 'no flash photography' sign was just a suggestion.

Lucky thing that happened right as Duke removed the saxophone from his lips for a second. He squinted through the flash, his head tilting in the direction of the--

Damn it, that was April.

He pulled a face. He refused to deal with that today. Or any day. He was Duke Silver. The saxophone was his only muse.

He played a shrill note that sounded like it was part of the tapestry, then settled back into his part.
