Oh, this promises to be interesting :D Hopefully there will finally be some talking - they all need to talk. SOON.
I loved how you wrote the scene with the Brigadier General, Al and Roy. I really can imagine it. While I usually see Al as a mild mannered, sweet young man, I can imagine him exploding like that. Also in his situation I can imagine him turning to someone he usually wouldn't to. What I don't get however is why he is so damn set on being a state Alchemist? I mean... Roy already said - there are plenty of other choices. Why state alchemist? Hasn't he seen his brother in pain enough? *shakes head* I really don't get it >.< hopefully this secret will also be lifted soon^^
I loved this chapter :D Can't wait for the next one! ^____^

Thanks. Hopefully, there will be some talking in the future. And so sorry I didn't reply earlier. Slow internet at first and then forgot I hadn't replied.

But yes, some things are goign to start to get resolved, but not all.

Maybe this might be what brings them back together, that and Roy actually fighting for him.

Al couldn't be an alchemist. I agree. He's far too innocent for that. He maybe willing to kill anyone that would his brother but to just go to war.. Yeah, he wouldn't be able to handle it. Ed can barely handle it.

I'm glad for what Roy said because Al does need to hear the truth

Thanks. Sorry it took so long to reply. Unreliable/slow net just wasn't cooperating after I'd posted this, then I forgot I hadn't posted.

Anyway, Roy definitely had to talk to Al. At least, someone did.

You for as sweet as Al is he can be a weasley little brother.

I am glad Rot said no to him being an State Alchemist , it would kill his AL spark.

To cute that the whole team is Ed sitting.....haha

Ed does have a soft spot for kids and he likes Liam so I am not surprised he is willing to rush in and help.

Great addition to a wonderful story.

Just because Al was talking to the general doesn't mean that he was actually going to betray his brother.

I'm glad you're enjoying this.

Those explanations were long overdue. Hopefully this will open the way in both instances. Both Ed and Roy have done a poor job of dealing with things. And good for Ed for not hesitating to help! Maybe that'll bring home to Roy just how much he's underestimated him.
