Greg House, House - because he has no patience for stupidity and no heart of gold, but he has a gift that works towards the greater good and a compulsion to use it.
These days even a description of House's character that I can agree with makes me squee.
Well, don't you know, he secretly yearns for the company of people, he's just lashing out because he's been hurt, hurt so horribly badly by life, and now he takes refuge in his raging drug addiction and the sweet, redeeming love of his perfect angel Wilson... You know, even with quite a severe fever I can't type this stuff with a straight face.
You may get a kick out of the fact my dad was thinking about you the other day. He'd been shelving your books in the library and laster, as he took a walk around the block, he found himself wondering what the second E was for. The question moved him so much it made one of his famous letters to me:
Possibilities:
Elaine Emily Eloise
But he finally settled on Evangeline.
(Don't tell us the answer! He really likes Evangeline. He actually wrote "I hope Nomad likes it.")
I have some sort of nasty bug that seems similar to glandular fever (I believe that's mono to the Americans in the crowd). Basically my temperature's up and down, I ache all over, I have no appetite, and I'm so stupidly tired I have to keep lying down for a rest if I stand up for more than two minutes. Fun! It started Sunday, but then my period started yesterday, so now it's impossible to tell if I'm getting better.
But I can still sit at my computer and type if I take nap breaks, and hey, that's the most important thing.
As for the middle name, that's for me to know and you to ponder. (Well, actually, it's no big mystery, but since you seem to be having fun guessing...)
