Another day, another random set of experimental icons. Loosely similar to the scribbly effect I did before, although actually achieved in a completely different way. I went a bit nuts trying it out on different sets of caps, so: 12 Stargate SG-1, 12 Stargate Atlantis, 12 West Wing, 4 Due South, 4 Harry Potter, 4 House.

So I completely forgot to watch House yesterday. This is the second time I've done that, although last time I remembered fifteen minutes in instead of half an hour after it had finished. Apparently, Fox is so pleased with the ratings and the Emmy win for "Three Stories" that they've extended the second season from 22 to 24 episodes. Wow. It really is the little show that just keeps. House fans: there's a very good radio interview with Hugh Laurie here. (Requires RealPlayer to listen to, unfortunately.) It's about half an hour long, the interviewer is very good and actually asks real, interesting questions, and HL gets to talk in-depth about the character of House and his acting. Nifty.

Well, three episodes in I'm still not really sure it's my kind of show, but the Hugh Laurie factor has sufficiently sold me. (Which was, really, more than predictable. I've long adored Hugh Laurie, and getting him away from the more buffoonish characters he used to play in the Blackadder era is just gravy. Even if the accent is weirding me out ( Read more... )
