Got another 208 words - kinda funny as yesterday my total on that story was 802!  I didn't think I'd get much done as I was good and went to class tonight and thought I'd be too knackered to write, but I had enough inspiriation to grind out my 208 words.  I probably could have done more, but I thought I'd better knock off and let my try and get an ( Read more... )

Another 300 words today - I skipped class tonight and thought I might have got more done, but still 300 words is 300 words - right?  So the vamp story is currently 802 words long.  Did some minor editing today as well - trying not to get sidetracked with that at the moment - I want to concentrate on getting the story down now and worry about ( Read more... )

Feeling more confident about the vamp story today - managed to think up some more explanations for how things go from A to B which is always good! 

Got nowhere with the vamp story - did add 177 words to the outline, but couldn't come up with a single word for the story itself.  Still met my committment though - added 150 words to an old vampire smut piece.  At least I still wrote something though.

Blah, I did manage 150 words, but they're pretty useless and really the only purpose they served was to enable me to reach my count.  Totally superflous.

Got held up returning MIL's computer to her and then had to help the boy set up some new games on the PC and fix one that had got stuffed up by updates, so it was about 11:30 before I got to ( Read more... )

While not a hugely impressive start, I've managed to get 200 words down on day 1 for my Victorian era vampire story.  In my defence, I wasted a lot of time researching - did Victorian people have cats, and the really involved bit was trying to find a name for my main character, which I haven't managed yet, but I eventually decided not to get hung ( Read more... )
