So I have been extraordinarily lazy lately. The weather itself has been conspiring with me for a change, and I've had four snow days in the last two weeks. (Okay, so two of them were flood days and yesterday an ice day and we've only had one actual day of snow, but I made the most of it.) Yesterday I literally did nothing but rewatch Justified ( Read more... )

I really liked this week's Justified. I'd been undecided about the current season before that, but like you I really enjoyed all the screen time Raylan got with both Tim and Rachel, and the confrontation between Boyd and Billy was indeed brilliant.

I'm actually pretty excited about the Drew Thompson storyline, if only because of how they've given both the marshals and the Crowders incentive to investigate it, and I can't wait to see how it all collides. And seeing Boyd face off with a tent revivalist and have to face his own religious demons in the process? I really hope it gets developed fully. (Along with Ava's descent into being a criminal mastermind, she has her own breaking bad thing going on right now.)

I agree! ♥ It was definitely a nice change of pace!

There were some amazing things this season, but I hated how disorganized it was. And the aliens. I just can't with the aliens. Though Evan Peters, Jessica Lange and Lily Rabe were all excelllent to watch.

*squishes* I hope everything's going well with you, too!

i think johnny should be worrying about wynn duffy, to be honest. well, and boyd too, because boyd can be scary when crossed. he should just be worrying in general! because he made a stupid deal.

i hope billy survives his snake bite, partly because i like him and partly because i really, really, really love the boyd&billy show, and what it shows us about boyd.

Johnny is in no way prepared to deal with Wynn Duffy. He's so far out of his depth right now, and he somehow thinks that he's golden since he framed Devil last season, and I think it's going to come to a head this season.

Me too. The preach-offs are so amazing, I really don't want them to end. They are so revealing about what Boyd feels about himself.

i'm not sure even boyd is prepared to deal with wynn duffy. i think the only person who is, is raylan, because he already has, and even then he got to him when wynn was already off-balance a little from having to deal with quarles. i'd feel bad for johnny except i think he should know better.

That is true. Raylan can handle Wynn, because he's got the law on his side. Boyd doesn't have that sort of built-in protection happening.

Johnny's digging his own grave, that's for sure.

Me too! I'm curious about exactly how savvy she is at what she does, and if she's going to be a real threat or not. I kind of have the feeling she will be.

I work for a public school, so happily I get off every day they cancel school for weather. It's a definite perk. I definitely made the most of it!

I'm confused and sort of delighted that Frank Iero has turned into Pete Wentz in his old age.

Season one is definitely better than season two. I think they tried a little TOO much with sesaon two and wrote themselves into a corner. and never really recovered it. But there are some awesome scenes along the way.

They do, it's pretty great.

Frank has a lot of feelings, clearly. ;)
