Too funny!

We got our rental costumes today, and while I freely admit I love mine, I had to laugh. Like most people there is one color I really, really don't like, orange. It's become a bit of a joke that I have at least one orange costume in ever play that I do....so here's one of my costumes (with the hair that takes an hour to do)

LOL, those were my high school colors as well! I have to laugh, my husband looked at this picture of me and said "You always did look good when you were pregnant", totally missing the fact that I don't have a faux pregnancy belly on in this picture. It was quite amusing to listen to him try to dig himself out of it, needless to say, salad is lunch for the next few centuries!

Oh, poor husband!

I think you look GRAND. We all have *cough* grown a bit, but you don't have the problem I do - the double chin. (ok, triple chin). This weekend, I found tons of old family pictures, and realized, well, I come by it honestly. I'm from a family of multi-chinned people, even the thin ones!

Aw, you look lovely! Orange isn't my favourite colour either, but I still like this outfit, and the hair of course {g}!

I seem to have missed some vital information like: What musical are you doing? What is this part.

that dress is quite hideous but you are very cute

Thank you Sorka! I'll take cute any day! I am not in a musical this time, I've finally gone over to the comedy side. (Actually I've done several non-musical comedies, just not here). We are doing the Women, by Claire Booth Luce, it's a play comprised totally of Women (Imagine the estrogen around the theater!). My part is that of one of the five friends, Edith. Edith's whole take on life (she's continually in some stage of pregnancy, btw) is summed up in the final scene of the play: "I'm the happiest woman you know, Peggy. Why? Because I don't ask Phelps or any other man to understand me. How could he, I'm a woman. And I don't try to understand them. They're just animals. Who am I to quarrel with how God made them. I have security, and I say What the hell and let nature take it's course. It's going to anyway."

Anyway, it's fun, I get some really juicy lines, and now that I've learned them, it's not quite so scary!
