Well it is definitely a "break up" and not a break.  He has a new girlfriend, not sure if they are "official" or what but he's spending a lot of time with her as far as I can tell.  I think it likely he was seeing her before I was moved out of the house.  I live with a friend now.

Sharing the same group of friends in the same (small) city is hard

Congrats on the race! I'm sorry about what's happened, I know there's not much I can say that can help, and I understand how the element of another person makes things a million times harder. But, even though I haven't seen you in years, I can say this: you are beautiful and smart, and seem to have a great network of friends. So you aren't going to be alone forever. I know that doesn't make it easier; I went through a miserable period this fall, and I guess what I learned is that it takes time.

Again, I know we don't really talk anymore, but if you need anything, let me know (via here, facebook, wherever). And if you ever want to get away from everything in Winston and come hang out in Chapel Hill, you're welcome to!

thanks. it'll take some getting used to, since I was so sure I'd gotten it all figured out - the man, the house, everything. Guess nothing is ever quite figured out. Sorry you had a bad time in the fall, I hope everything is settled for you now. Facebook tells me you picked Hopkins, exciting! Are you going to be in Chapel Hill all summer? I've got a friend from Winston starting at UNC Med in the fall and I think she's moving to Chapel Hill mid-summer. I'll holler if I'm over that way. I know we used to have some similar music tastes but they've probably gone totally different directions... there is a lot of country mixed into my music these days. But maybe a concert sometime or something like that if there is something we're both fans of!
