Thanks so much! I kind of needed some fluff in this verse (true story, when I started to write the big bang, I was sure it was going to be fun and fluffy AU, because, well, actors AUs tend to be like that... but no, they've decided otherwise.)

And while I love first times fics, I sometimes have a yearning to write something established, something comfortable and easy and sure. So, I'm so very happy you liked it :)

XDDD I wasn't sure about them being actors initially, but I'm finding myself grinning like an ass at the end XD

“Mine,” Nate says simply and slips it onto his finger.

“That’s not how that works,” Brad points out.

!! I don't know why this got me in stitches. They sound 12! And then you have Nate rubbing it in...“Yeah, and I would have been much better at the whole thing,”. Toolbox, Brad?

He’s starting to think that if by some freak chance he gets the Oscar, he’ll just walk up there, say thank you, and then change professions. He could open a bike repair shop.
X__X

And his speech really is meme-worthy XD

I'm unsure about half of the AUs I write, to be honest. I mean... Groundhog Day and Sabrina, what was I thinking? If one day I find myself writing Sleepless in Seattle or You've Got Mail, someone ought to kick me.

But the reaching out part is half the fun, too ;) Even though I have to hide after posting, so I don't hyperventilate.

I love failed proposals. I mean failed as in accepted but not going according to the plan at all. Such fun :D

Thanks so much for reading :))

I just saw Sleepless in Seattle last month whilst trying to sleep. I wonder how that would work since the premise is that man and women can't be just friends. or a gay man and a straight bloke can't ever be just friends. XD You've Got Mail I can recite in my sleep, my mom's seen it a million times. It does make for an interesting attempt XDD You write, we kick you, and then we read!

LOL bear in mind you make a lot of people happy by posting :DD And failed proposals are funny to read, cliched though they are. I love Brad's non-proposal though.

I wanted to write Sleepless in Seattle au once! And then I kind of roped Celle into writing it, but she stopped, and now I have to make her write more. So, Sleepless in Seattle is a very reasonable au!
(Because, you know, Brad with a kid. And Nate listening to night auditions. NEEDS TO HAPPEN)

(yes, shutting up now)

This is an awesome sundae with a cherry on top. I loved Nate's voice here, and all the little offscreen cameos mentioning Ray and Brad's mother planning the Pastel Wedding of Doom. And the hidden wedding rings!!!! I was 100% consumed with flaily delight there.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww :)

I loved this. Your Big Bang fic was heartbreaking (but no less awesome because of it, quite the opposite), but this one fixed everything :) I'm a sucker for fluff, I admit.
