This is gorgeous. I just want to hug Giles and make it all better.

That's excellent and an original choice of theme.

I really appreciate your exploration of the character - and you know how much I like parentheses ;) A couple of phrases really resonated, I think, and the displacement is tangible (and a little ironic, him being - still - the symbolic wielder of power). Nice :D

I think I spotted one "he's" where it should have been "his".

How's the porn coming along? XDDDDD

Don't even ask me about porn, right now I'm having difficulties in getting any two characters to kiss, much less do anything more (especially in Polish). It's kind of tragic.

My characters can't seem to get down to anything else but sex, on the other hand...

Good luck with the coercion or whatever you need to employ to coax your characters to get it on ;)

I just need to find an equivalent of a sex pollen, or GHB, that works on voices in my head, eh?

*headdesks*

Oh this is absolutely lovely! What great insight into Giles!

I love this:
(His accent probably rests somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic, thousands of miles over the water. Vowels shifted and removed from reality, lost in uncertainty.

Really wonderful!
