My literary kinks... It's literature! All that letters, words, phrases that make stories. More seriously: narrativum, as Pratchett calls it.
More detailed version later, but I need to comment on Sapkowski.
I do understand your opinion (altough please, don't compare AS with JKR, it makes me sick!), but I see happy end of "witcher saga" as one of possibilities. Many fans thinks that Avalon-and-wedding part is just kind of end Ciri wish for - not actuall end of story.
And I hope that we're talking about "Pani Jeziora", not "Coś się kończy...", right?
