Top Ten Documentaries of 2011
Someone asked for this and because in 2011 I had seen more documentaries than I had in year’s past, here’s a quick list of the best documentaries I saw this year. Notable misses I haven’t seen yet: Senna, Buck, Most Valuable Players and Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop.

Top Twenty Horror of 2011 (and 2012 Contenders)
2011 was rocky for horror movies. I came up with a top twenty of my favorites. I’ve also included, at the bottom of this page, some movies that aren’t coming out until next year that will probably be my top ten then or I think people should keep an eye on. Because I’m a die hard horror fan and because of the 531 movies I saw this year 231 of them were horror films I’ve decided to write up a quick top ten list of my favorite 2010 horror films. My regular top ten actually had three of these movies on the list.

I know, I know, even I am sick of reading people’s top ten lists of movies this year. But for my own edification I wanted to make sure to put mine down so I can look back on it. For me, my top ten represents the movies that I saw this year that really affected me and ones that I look back upon with some level of fondness, disgust or appreciation.

detroit bound
jenerator and I are going to Detroit during Memorial Day Weekend for the Movement Festival (previously the Detroit Electronic Music Festival). I did stuff!
Jenni is out of town at a PTK thing in Houston so I've been spending my time trying to be more social. Yesterday I saw The Crazies, which I can highly recommend. If you've not seen the George Romero original, then you're not missing much. Frankly, it's boring as hell. However, the new one, with Timothy Olyphant is really, really good.
