I like that line, but only if Reid is saying it sometime in the future in the privacy of his and Luke's bedroom.

At this time in Luke's life, Reid's got no time for weddings (not that he goes to any). He's too busy staying up late and studying for the next day's procedures, preparing to outsmart his fellow interns and professors in med school.

By the way, feel free to tell us in comments what was going on in young Reid's life around the same time as this wonderful drama in Luke's.

Lucinda is hilarious in this episode! And the only smart one. Lily and Holden should have made Luke wear one of those child leashes or SOMEthing.

Do we know for sure how much older Reid is than Luke? Can't go by the actor's ages, obviously, since Luke is several years younger than Van. No matter, what, I figure that Reid is in college. Very busy, very grumpy, and ~*lonely*~.

Van said Luke was 22, I believe, in an interview during the LuRe storyline but we were never told Reid's. Since he's been practicing for a few years, I'd say he's about 15 years older than Luke, 37 or so. But he could've finished school earlier, genius that he is, and is actually younger.

For some reason, and I can't remember where I got this from, Reid was supposedly in his early 30s. I do remember people complaining on a soap board that even though he was in his early 30s, he was way too old for Luke (this is when he first came on). That age wouldn't work time-wise for the years needed for schooling and training a regular neurosurgeon, but since Reid is a genius, it's possible. I think when fans realized ESS's age, they started to project Reid's age closer to his.

But I could be completely wrong!

Poor Little Luke, I guess he kinda got used to trouble. I think Reid was probably either in college are already a doctor and giving everyone a hard time. lol
