Part Thirteen: "Sorry to hear that, my little boy. At least you didn't die there."
Hola! First off, thank you for the birthday wishes!! That was so sweet of you all!!! :D
Today we see Little Luke at Molly and Jake's wedding. I'm including the vows for how incredibly, hilariously laughable they are, since like 3 months later (tops!) Molly is making out with some other dude, but whatever. Also, whoa! Look at their budget!! People! In attendance! Including Katie and her latest boyfriend, Bruno. Uh, apparently Katie's taste ranges from awesome (Simon and Brad) to really sucky (Bruno and Chris Hughes). *sigh* Katie, Katie, Katie...what the hell are you doing??? A part of the clip I didn't include, just so you know, shows Katie ultimately rejecting Simon soundly, and I don't think they ever got properly back together after that? Someone else will have to tell you. (Sorry, I cut it. I was exhausted when editing these.) Anyway, Bruno = Chris Hughes. Ick.
As for our small Luke Snyder - well, he already needs better friends. Will and some other kid go with Luke to Lucinda's cottage (the future Lilypad) because Luke would much rather hang out with cute boys than watch the bride and groom kissy-kissy. Luke, Will, and another kid go to Lucinda's cottage which then later becomes the Lilypad at some point in the future. I love this glimpse of him, though, because we see, yet again, that the writers are bizarrely consistent with characterization on the show (despite people's claims to the contrary *cough*) and we see that Luke is already a mix of ballsy, defiant, disobedient, loyal, desperate for approval/acceptance, and made of love that he always was and always remained. Also, little Luke never promised! Haha!
But, really, the crux of the whole thing is that Dante isn't done yet. Dun-dun-DUN.
By the way, feel free to tell us in comments what was going on in young Reid's life around the same time as this wonderful drama in Luke's. Somehow, I suspect it was a lot less cray-cray.
