Reid caves like a massive mawing hole in the earth and tells Luke all as soon as Luke acts as though he might walk.
Hahahahaha! HE SO DOES. I love it.
Meh. I just hate that. Because a) Reid always cared about others, they set that up clearly, and b) I really dislike when characters credit someone else for them changing in some way. Don't get me wrong, I think Reid and Luke made each other better people, but I just...ugh. I don't know. This conversation rang all wrong for me.
Yeah, not my favourite part either. It's all part of that bullshit redemption ending crap for Reid who DID NOT EVEN NEED REDEEMING!!! Ugh.
I do love their short fight that was over in like four seconds. I remember watching this episode live and whining to NSD that they were probably gonna drag this fight out forever and then bam! They made up after the next commercial break. I LOVE THEM!
The Douchey Hughes nonsense continues to be taxing. Blech.
Seriously, Luke has such an ammmmmmazing face!!! It is just so expressive and shows every single thought he has ever ever ever. :) I love it. And Reid's always :| all the time, except when Luke is too cute to stand, and then he's :) for a fast second. His fleeting grinchy smile. I love it.
SIIIGH, their relationship is lovely and healthy and sweet and sparkly. <3 Their awesomeness here repairs the stupid seeds of doubt pelted all over the place during that soppy Nuke scene.
I really, really hated the damn cocktail party, too. Except for the part where Reid confided in Luke about Chris, finally. All of the lame foreshadowing can GTFO, mostly because there was no train, and Luke and Reid are married and have many children, THE END.
And, yes, Luke and Reid are soooo arguing right about now about whose turn it is to take out the trash, and then Reid walks out to go to the hospital, leaving the trash behind, and Luke takes it out, and then when Reid comes home he brings a sack of trash with him that he collected from the nurses' station on his way out of the hospital, and he's like, "I figured you took the trash, but it was my turn, so I brought some to take out." And Luke's all, "You are such an ass," and Reid's all, "Yeah, I'm good at that." And then Reid drops his bag of nurses' trash by the door, goes to the kitchen, washes his hands, and then grabs Luke and makes out with him, while dragging him to the bedroom for some sweet make-up ass pounding. THE END.
Or something like that. Whatever the case, Reid is definitely not dead.
Let's all take a moment to imagine the future where Luke does the Bitch Plz! face and Reid does the epic eye roll in reply before giving in and doing whatever Luke wanted.
Ahahaha. I can totally picture this.
Ha! So Noah has been elevated from humble barista to dramatic filmmaker. I liked that Reid simply said that Noah overstated and left it at that. I liked that he kept the discussion on their relationship.
I actually enjoyed the fact that they had their first real argument as a couple and I loved it even more that they handled it so maturely. I remember being surprised that it was over before it barely even started.
Hee! at Luke being a tasty, hot side dish.
Chris bombs with the trustees, but Reid saves his ass.
It so was painful for me to watch this. Reid is so awesome and Chris is so undeserving of his help. Grr! I did enjoy proud boyfriend Luke commenting on the sidelines, though.

I firmly believe that Chris actually does deserve death. He's willfully ignoring the fact that his death will devastate Katie and his parents. He's threatened to destroy a good man's career and reputation. His unwillingness to take care of himself means that he shouldn't even get on the heart transplant list if it means it's going to deprive someone who didn't create their own situation from getting a heart.
Luke says he needs to get ready, too, if he is still invited, and Reid asks if he wants to go and Luke says yes, and Reid agrees, and thus ends the shortest fight in Daytime History!!! I love this so much about them. One of the reasons I don't read a lot of fics where Luke or Reid cheat on each other or where their relationship implodes is because I don't usually buy it. I think that they're good at fighting. They address the issue and move on. [Well, the other reason I don't read a lot of unhappy fic is I just don't like either one of them being unhappy

I don't buy them cheating either, but I do love fics that deal with realistic problems (eg, their demanding schedules, the age difference, etc.). I enjoy a little angst sometimes as long as there is a happy ending.
I can enjoy stories where they hit bumps in the road. But I don't usually read a fic if it looks like their relationship is veering into NUKE territory with recriminations and breakups and stuff. Not that I don't think a lot of those fics are well-written. Some excellent writers in the fandom write a fair amount of angst. And I actually don't mind some angst in movies or books but for some reason I just want this relationship to succeed. I suspect that's partially because of the ending that they got. I'm a dork.

And yeah, I hate that last part of their conversation, too. Look out for the giant falling anvils. Remember, Reid has a good heart! Blech.
But they are so cute and boyfriendy when they first walk in the club. Tasty hot sidedish!

Tasty. I'm thinking Reid knows what Luke tastes like. /not subtle innuendo

I completely understand. Luke and Reid deserve all the happiness in the world and I am definitely grateful to the writers who make that happen.
