That conversation between Luke and Noah starts out so well, but then Noah had to say, "I had to deal with my blindness alone!" again, proving that he hasn't learned a thing. Why exactly should Luke get back together with him? So Noah can push him away the next time something bad happens? Like every other time something bad has happened? Good plan.

Reid in competent doctor mode - so hot!
Over-caffeinated Luke - so adorable!

"But yeah, it's serious." ::swoons!::

Noah lacks self-awareness the way that albinos lack melanin.

Luke is serious about Reid!!! *swoon*

Luke declares what they had so special, and I want to pet him and love him forever, because this is so desperately how he wants to remember it. He's willing to overlook the bad because he knows it's over, and he wants to have this bittersweet, tender goodbye. Bless. He's such a damn romantic. Such a great description of Luke Love ( ... )

Chris. He actually threatens to destroy Katie's and Bob's opinion of Reid. Who are probably two of the first people in Reid's entire life who he cared for. It's like the writers were trying to make Chris as unreedemable as possible and then rewarding his character with everything he ever wanted. I truly would love to know their reasoning behind writing him as they did.

Ugh, so much WORD. He is a bastard. I really, really don't get why we're "supposed" to root for him.

he doesn't really feel like embarassing himself by making a sincere and over-due apology or declaring his love.

Nope, he doesn't. Because it's all Luke and Reid's fault that Luke doesn't love Noah anymore.

It is such a mystery to me. I mean, I really almost think that they were sadists or something.

BTW, it's always going to be part of my personal fanon that the movie that won Noah the trip to LA is the version of his senior project that Luke did the final cut of while Noah was at the blind institute.

Sounds fair to me! And, of course, Noah would give Luke zero credit, and just complain about how it would've been better if he'd edited it himself.

Ugh. I really, really think that the writers are aboard the NUKE train (and that that train literally killed Reid). I wish I could see it the other way, but IMO, that first scene just dripped NUKE-love. I do think that Luke has mixed feelings. I think it's very hard for him to let Noah go, and that he still has feelings for him, and that, in a way, he's using his relationship with Reid to hurt him ( ... )

:) I can't really say that I agree with your interpretation of Luke here. I think he's done with Noah no matter what happens with Reid and that he's not really torn at all on that front. But, obviously, we all watch different shows! It's the only explanation sometimes! :D

I don't think Luke wants to use his relationship with Reid to hurt Noah; to me, that's just not something Luke would do (well, not when he's sober, anyway -- if he gets drunk, then yeah, he might really want to hurt someone ( ... )

You know what makes me angry? The fact that I want to skip over every scene with Doogie Hughes in it, whether or not Reid's in it. *sigh*

Don't get me started on Noah. I just can't. He's so wrong in so many ways it makes my head hurt. Rooftop!Luke is back, and I love him.

Also, Luke is hot in this episode. When he confirms with Noah that he and Reid are serious, I want to do the 'fangirl shuffle' around my living room.

Also, who gets a hotel room to give medication? YOU'RE IN A FUCKING HOSPITAL, DOOGIE - LOCK THE DAMN DOOR(looking at you, Reid. You're smarter than that). It takes thirty seconds to give an injection. It's not like you need IV drug therapy or something. Also, doesn't Chris have his own house? You can't just go home? What? *headdesk*

The closer and closer we get to the 'end', the angrier and angrier I get.

Today's episode actually inspired a video (Luke and his serious comment), and if you want to watch, here it is:

Preach it sister. I can hardly watch these episodes because they piss me off so much. Its amazing to me that even after nearly a year the anger still feels fresh.
