Apparently a day or so has passed; Luke comes into Noah's hospital room and asks if there have been any changes. Noah tells him that he can see light and dark and some colors, but that shapes are mostly blurry. Hey, Noah? I believe the word you were looking for there was "No

Reid, OTOH, is having a conversation where it's already a foregone conclusion that Luke will end up back with Noah. In his mind, the only point to telling Noah anything would be to relieve Luke's guilty conscience.
Actually, I don't see that. I think he's telling Luke not to tell Noah because that way they--he and Luke--can still try to figure things out between them. Reid wants to stall until he and Luke both know and can confirm what's going on with them. That's why when Luke says he has to tell Noah, Reid asks Luke "Tell him what?" Maybe by delaying this truth (whatever that is), Luke won't return to Noah. JMT

Uh, explain it to me then, Alison, 'cause I sure as hell don't know why he did it. And I think that Luke doesn't really know either.
And Noah: Understanding it one thing, not blaming me is something else.
Oh, PLEASE. OH PLEASE. You big old blaming butthole. Ugh. I have such a hard time watching his scenes because he's all, "Woe is me! My life is so hard! So much harder than Dr. Oliver's life! So much harder than it should be! And I love Luke but he blames me for treating him badly!!!"
Well who should he blame, Noah? Who should he blame for you treating him badly??? Himself?? Oh, yeah, you'd probably think so, huh?
Grrrr.

Noah's redemption is an odd thing for me. I can see where he could come to see the mistakes he's made and truly regret how much he hurt Luke and Maddie and Casey [after all, he did get Casey thrown out of college]. And I can see him choosing to try to be a better person.
But I kind of see him as inherently self-centered so I don't see him ever being a great boyfriend or friend. I see him as being someone who ends up dedicating himself to his art [ha ha]and occasionally feeling sad that he's never found the kind of relationship that Luke has with Reid or the kind of deep friendship that Luke shares with Casey. After he deals with his crap, I can see him dating casually and having casual friends but being pretty much a loner and generally being okay with that. Not that there's anything wrong with ( ... )

The number of times a variation on this line was used...the writers must have been playing a game to see how many times they could get it in. It's said so frequently I imagine you could use it to play a drinking game and you'd be smashed within minutes.

I totally get Reid's actions. Reid had made it clear to Luke on a number of occasions he is interested in him. He keeps walking in on the two of them holding hands so he feels rejected by Luke. When he feels rejected he gets mean and snarky trying to push away the cause of the pain. Too bad for him it doesn't work and he has to take out his frustrations on Katie's pillow. Lucky pillow.

Luke, stop being so sweet and adorable, you’re giving me a toothache. Please don’t stop with the amazing 'bitch please' expressions.
Noah, just…no.
